This is a very popular Hilton Head activity for kids! The double sided banana boat is pulled behind a high power Yamaha Waverunner right from the docks of Palmetto Bay Marina and holds up to 6 passengers. The marina is seconds away from the beautiful riding area of Broad Creek. You can expect to get splashed, sprayed and flung around as you experience a ride like no other. Expect to zip up and down Broad Creek during the four mile pull. From young to old, the banana boat is a fun and affordable activity for all ages. Once it the riding area the ride last between 15 and 20 minutes.
What is a banana boat?
Almost exactly what it sounds like. It is a big inflatable raft roughly shaped like a banana that is pulled behind a speedboat. The boat captain can adjust for the age and bravery of all the members of your group. From a slow and tame ride for little Jimmy all the way to a white-knuckle adrenaline-pumping thrill for dare devils.
While the other members of your party are on the banana, you can either enjoy the sight of them bouncing, splashing and spraying, or you can simply sit back and enjoy the beautiful scenery of waters around Hilton Head.
