Hilton Head Island, on average, receives over 2.67 million visitors to the Island on an annual basis. Most of those are return visitors with high hopes and higher expectations about the specifics of their Hilton Head vacations. Hilton Head Island is a booming traveler destination for explorers, adventurers, families, sun worshipers, and relaxed vacationers alike. There are dozens of fun things to do, amazing things to see, and we have had an awesome summer with loads of fantastic, new discoveries.
When we visit Hilton Head, we normally find ourselves into the same routine, as if we have never left. We stay at the same place, find ourselves at the same restaurants, hang out at the same part of the beach, bikes, outlets, and so on. This year my family and I wanted to try something new.

Operating out of Hilton Head Harbor, the crew is the same bunch of awesome people, but the location offers a new perspective on beautiful Hilton Head Island surroundings when guests delve into Island Head Watersport’s repertoire of unique, inspired activities.
Summer is always a blast at Palmetto Bay Marina! The marina is tucked away near the Cross Island Parkway (bridge), but is filled with so much to do. Did you know this was the first marina ever built on Hilton Head Island? Since 1959, Palmetto Bay Marina Village has hosted fishing, sailing, parasailing, wave runners, boat rentals, tours, kayaks, restaurants, gifts, and so much more.
